The issue of same-sex marriages in the US is hot these days. because it seems that finally the laws are going to support them (in fact they are in a hurry) and perhaps for this reason, testimonies of different people supporting the cause are appearing on the web.
One of the most striking is the testimony of Zack Wahls, a boy who was already 19 years old, and that was two years ago, was planted in the House Joint Resolution no. 6 from Iowa, where a proposal for a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage was discussed (there was allowed), to explain his situation and experiences as a son raised by two lesbians.
As you can see in the video, it is a pretty bright young man who could serve as an example, not that lesbian children are more valid than those of heterosexual couples, but that they are not different. I keep the phrase that says:
In my 19 years, I have never met an individual who realized that I was educated by a gay couple.
And it seems that it is a lie that in the times in which we are, when it is difficult to explain which is the type family, or the middle family, because there are families with only one child, families with two and three children, single parents, families of divorced parents, families where some children live with their mother and their partner, or with their father and their partner, or with their mother, their partner and the children of the couple, or with the grandmother, or with people who are not even part of his family, or ... there is still someone who is able to say something so absurd like a child cannot be raised well with two people of the same sex, united by love.
It seems a lie because after all that is what matters, that people who take care of a child love each other and respect each other and at the same time love and respect your child. No more is needed.
