'Chromosome Cinco' is a story of loss and encounter that opens on December 12 in Barcelona

'Chromosoma Cinco' is a documentary that will be released on December 12 in 'Cinemes Girona' (Barcelona). The film begins with the birth of Andrea, a premature, beautiful and different girl. His parents begin an intense search that lasts more than a year to try to obtain a response or diagnosis.

'Chromosome Five' is directed by Maria Ripoll ("Rain in Shoes", "Tortilla Soup", "Utopia", "Tu vida en 65 '") and Lisa Pram, photographer and one of the protagonists of the documentary, and is co produced by TVE. I wanted to echo the premiere of this documentary because I think it is worth sharing with all of you the work that those responsible for this story have done for two years. We also want you to meet Andrea and her mother Lisa.

The diagnosis Andrea finally received is a rare syndrome called 5p- or Cri du Chat. Andrea has lost a small part of her Chromosome Five and Lisa will find a new way to see and understand light and life

The documentary begins with Lisa Pram, the mother, begins to write the Little Black Book, a very personal newspaper that includes texts, photographs and drawings. Chromosome Five is based on this intimate piece that he writes to his daughter.

'Chromosome Five' will be screened in the Girona films, on December 12, 19, 26 and January 2 at 8:00 p.m. There will also be an extra pass on Sunday, December 16, at 12 noon for schools and families.
