A good idea: cardboard Christmas tree

In times of crisis, ingenuity must be sharpened. Resorting to materials that we have at home for Christmas decoration is an economical and original option, so today I bring you a good idea what can you do with your children: make a cardboard christmas tree.

In some houses a natural fir tree is placed, while in others the classic artificial tree is used, which is more practical but the large ones take up too much space when it comes to storing them. Therefore, a good alternative, besides being fun for children, are cardboard trees to decorate.

With a little imagination you can make a pattern and trim it to assemble your own Christmas tree. You have to make two faces with a groove on the top to fit both faces and that you have a tree with four faces. Another variant is to make a base and place on it the faces of the tree. Here is an example of how to do it.

You also have the option to buy it already manufactured in stores such as Soy-eco or The Cardboard Tree.

Once you have the tree comes the most fun part: decorate it. You can paint it directly with markers or waxes, line it with aluminum foil and create the ornaments by cutting the paper itself, or make the ornaments separately, also in cardboard and paste them on the tree, as you like. If you prefer, you place lights, garlands or the typical Christmas balls.

The advantage of the cardboard Christmas tree is that being smaller takes up little space and is easier to assemble and disassemble.

I leave some examples for you to start the imagination and share a good time with your children decorating the Christmas tree.
