Disney toys that work with solar energy

The parents are in luck. The Spanish toy maker IMC Toys has developed Disney toys that work with solar energy, leaving behind the "wonderful" world of batteries.

The toys they have created are the Solar Friends, children-like dolls of familiar characters: Mickey Mouse, Minnie, The Little Mermaid, Dumbo, Snow White, Winnie The Pooh, etc., who walk and dance with the grace that they work without batteries.

Toys must be purchased with one with a charging base, sold separately, provided with a photovoltaic cell with which the character will take "forces" with the help of the sun.

IMC Toys has stated in this regard that these toys "They will help children create a social awareness about caring for the environment with the help of their parents."

The dolls cost € 9.99, while the charging base € 24.99. The goal in this case is for children to have only one base to charge all their characters.

It is certainly a fantastic toy concept with which we save money on batteries, save the energy we use to charge rechargeable batteries or We save the planet a few spent batteries, which is missing makes us start taking care of it a little more.

With regard to children, the charging base is a concept to work in the style "he is tired, we are going to take him to take a nap" or simply, "he has run out of battery, you have to charge it to make it work again".

The dolls are intended for children from five to seven years, although honestly, seeing the aesthetics and operation, they seem for younger children.
