Nausea may be related to smart babies

We already know that nausea during pregnancy could be related to less chance of abortion according to some research, and now we have another source of "comfort" for women who suffer from it. According to a study published in "The Journal of Pediatrics," morning sickness during pregnancy may be related to a high IQ in babies.

The investigation was carried out by carrying out intelligence tests on the children of mothers with and without morning sickness. The results showed that children of mothers with nausea had better results, and even the more severe the vomiting, the higher the IQ.

Nausea would be related to a mother's reaction to hormones that are secreted to have a healthy placenta, which protects the brain of the fetus.

The study was conducted by Dr. Irena Nulman and her colleagues at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto (Canada), and took into account the data of 120 women and their children between 3 and 7 years old.

As we can see, there seems to be more data that approach the position that nausea is good for mother and baby, they could even be a indicative greater intellectual potential in small, although it is also true that those who suffer them forget about it and sometimes the discomfort is quite unbearable.
