Highlights of the week: April 21-27

As every week, we review by the most outstanding contents in Babies and more during the past week

In our Special Pregnancy we have talked about the different ways to surprise with the news of pregnancy as well as the natural solutions for discomforts in pregnancy such as nausea, heartburn, constipation, back pain and stress. We have also delved into a very frequent complication during pregnancy such as cramps.

Also about pregnancy, but about discrimination against pregnant women at work, Eva reminded us that pregnancy dismissal should be null in any workplace, although unfortunately it is not always the case.

MMar, on the other hand, brought us the advice of an expert to maintain a balanced diet in pregnancy, one of the fundamental keys, along with exercise, to have a healthy pregnancy.

Speaking of eating and pregnancy, a revealing study that confirms the relationship between the mother's diet and the sex of the baby has come to light this week.

Elda has published a very interesting article about John Bowlby's attachment theory that highlights the importance of the emotional bond between the parents and the baby to achieve a good personality development.

We have learned that Valencia also joins the humanization of pediatric units as it has announced that it will put colors in the hospitals of the Community.

The curious touch of the week has been given by research that blames certain telenovelas for low birth rates in Brazil.

Finally, we have known some interesting childcare articles. A prototype cart with a very spatial pint and an electric bottle preparation, for some very practical, but for others a perfectly dispensable device.

As always, in Babies and more we have colors for all tastes. This week, much more.
