VIII Congress of Battered Children

He VIII Congress of Battered Children organized by CAVAS (Cantabrian Association for Assistance to Victims of Sexual Assault and for the Prevention of Child Abuse), will be held in the city of Santander on November 23, where 300 professionals from different fields related to children and children will meet familiar surroundings. Psychologists, social and health workers, journalists, etc., will hold debates on the role model to achieve child welfare through the different preventive formulas that are oriented to family and institutional practices. The Paraninfo of the Magdalena de Santander will be the place where this congress will be held, with a clear and direct theme, “Promoting child welfare; treating them, treating us well. ” The congress aims to stimulate a reflection from a critical point of view on institutional responses to the serious problem of child abuse, the different problems that lead to this situation and the search for new formulas that promote and promote respect for children.
