A babysitter marries and is part of her courtship to 15 children who have been in her care

At some weddings, the bride and groom have a specific request about their big day: that no children attend. There will be those who agree and those who do not, but the truth is that it is something that has become something usual (referring to that, regardless of our position, it no longer takes us by surprise, not that it is something that is "normal" ).

But a girlfriend does not think the same, because after working as a nanny for several years, boys and girls were special guests on their wedding day, 15 of the children they took care of being part of their courtship.

For the past eight years, Jennifer Wright has worked as a babysitter, forming very special ties with many of the children who have been in her care, some even since they were babies. Recently, Jennifer got married and having formed such a great friendship with these children, she could not help inviting them to that important moment. But that was not all, since he also made them part of his courtship.

On her wedding day, Jennifer had 4 "junior" bridesmaids, 8 flower girls and 3 little straws. Each one of them had been under his care at some point in his life, and he met most of them when they were barely in diapers.

In an interview for Yahoo Style, Jennifer says that It all started with a casual conversation between her and one of the girls she took care of, who asked her if she could be the flower girl when it was her wedding. That happened years ago and Jennifer didn't even know if she would get married one day, but instead of giving the girl a complex answer, she told him that she could certainly be the flower girl.

Eventually, all the children he took care of asked him that question at some point in their lives, and when he least expected it, I had already promised 15 of them who would accompany her on the big day. "I told everyone yes, why not? I love kids"comments Jennifer.

At first she thought that children would be forgotten over time, but it turned out that none of them forgot and made sure to remind her of that promise over the years. When Jennifer finally got engaged to her now husband, he realized that he really wanted to invite everyone to his wedding: "It was important to them, and I wanted them to be there", says Jennifer.

Because she worked as a babysitter, Jennifer didn't have other coworkers to invite, nor did she have many friends her age:

I will not lie, I was a little disappointed to realize that most of my closest relationships were with children young enough to be my children. But it was right after this that I realized how much each one meant to me. Each and every one of them are the most amazing, intelligent, funny, beautiful, stubborn and wonderful people I have ever met, and it has been a privilege to be so close with these fantastic human beings. They are like family to me and they have told me that I am also for them. It simply wouldn't have been the happiest day of my life without them.

Since he knew "his children" so well and wanted them to have a good time at their wedding, he made sure to reserve an area for them with toys, colors and LEGO pieces that would keep them entertained.

In general, the kids had an amazing time and although she was worried that someone would go through a tantrum or feel uncomfortable about her role in courtship, none of that happened: "It was absolutely perfect, no complaints. I couldn't be more impressed with all of them, they did a great job".
