The birth of this mother is going around the world for two very curious events: she had a premature delivery in the car, on the way to the hospital, and her baby was born in what is known as a "veiled delivery", which is when born with the bag intact.
Only 29 weeks of gestation
As he explains Raelin Scurry on his Instagram account, on August 5 he realized, around 10 in the morning, that he was having contractions. At first, being 29 weeks and four days pregnant, he thought they were called Braxton Hicks contractions, so he decided to wait.
After 45 minutes of contractions, and seeing that they were becoming more intense and regular, he decided that the most logical thing was to go to the hospital to assess his condition. Already in the car, with his partner, he felt that the contractions were going more, and that they began to appear the desire to bid.
He called the emergency room, scared, to see what he could do. He tried to make himself understood, between the cries of the contractions, and seeing that he was not able to explain himself, he handed the phone to his partner. He lowered his pants, aware that his head was already there, and after a single bid his "miracle baby" was born.
Looking down, she realized, surprised, that she was inside the amniotic sac. On the phone they were advised to stop the car and wait for an emergency team to arrive, but he knew it would take longer to wait, and he told Ean, his partner, to continue driving.
The baby did not move and she began to pray that she was well. He rubbed his face with his thumb and he cringed, as if telling him not to worry, that everything was fine.
A few minutes later they arrived at the hospital, where they were already waiting to see them right away.
The baby is still hospitalized
