They ask a mother to retire first class in flight because her baby was crying

Travel by plane with young children it's a challenge and traveling with babies is even more so. One as a mother expects to get on the plane and that during the flight your baby keeps calm and does not cry much. You prepare yourself with toys, food and different things that you can use as a distractor if necessary, but sometimes things just don't go as you plan.

This was what happened to fashion blogger Arielle Noa Charnas and her husband when traveling with their 9-month-old baby a few days ago and that she shared as a bitter experience through her Instagram account when Flight staff asked him to leave his seats in first class.

On our way to LA a few days ago it was my first time flying with Ruby, I had a screaming crying sleepy baby who was so overwhelmed that she couldn't fall asleep. My husband and I paid for first class so that we'd have the extra space and could lay down with her - once we were boarded I was getting tons of eye rolls and head shakes from fellow passengers on @delta because my baby was crying ( as if I could just look at Ruby and say okay now it's time to stop ). I tried to ignore the people until 10 minutes passed and a flight attendant came over to me and asked me and my baby to move to the back of the plane (as if the people in the back didn't matter). Give up our seats that we paid for and move. Apparently I was upsetting and getting a lot of complaints from the first class passengers. I started crying because I was so stressed and anxious and instead of the stewardess being helpful and compassionate she instead made the situation worse. I don't know what's right and wrong when it comes to flying with a baby but after telling a few people the story they were in shock. Thoughts? We're headed back to NYC today and we're hoping for a much better experience. ✈️

Arielle published this photo with her baby Ruby accompanied by the following text:

On our way back to Los Angeles a few days ago it was my first flight with Ruby, I had a baby crying and screaming because I was so overwhelmed that I couldn't fall asleep. My husband and I paid for first-class seats so we had extra space and could sleep with her. Once we boarded I was getting a lot of annoying glances from the other passengers of @delta because my baby was crying (as if I could just see Ruby and tell her it was time to stop). I tried to ignore the people until 10 minutes passed and a flight attendant approached me and asked me and my baby to move to the back of the plane (as if the people in that section didn't matter). Leave the seats we had paid and move. Apparently I was feeling upset and receiving many complaints from first class passengers. I started crying because I was very stressed and anxious and the overload instead of being helpful and compassionate only made the situation worse. I don't know what's right and what's wrong when it comes to traveling by plane with a baby but after telling my story to several people, everyone was impressed. Any ideas? Today we will fly back to New York and look forward to a better experience.

I have been in that situation where my daughter does not stop crying and you feel the annoying looks of the passengers around you on the flight and I know that it is quite uncomfortable and stressful to go through that. Sometimes, no matter how prepared we go, we cannot decide on the feelings of our children and we must do our best to comfort them so they feel better.

If you wonder how it all ended, Arielle later commented to Us magazine that she decided that she would not move from her seats in first class and instead of retiring they were walking and cooing her baby in the hallway. Finally when the plane took off the baby fell asleep peacefully on her mother's shoulder and it was a quiet flight.

For its part, the airline stated that they personally apologized to Arielle's husband and reimbursed the money for their seats plus $ 300 for the inconvenience caused.

What would you have done in such a situation?
